"when was the last time you counted to 864?"

before tonight, i would have had trouble answering that question.

it is exactly 864 steps from where i started counting in the baptist parking lot to the coatrack behind my apartment door. i was worried that i may have been counting too quickly but i knew i was ok when my left foot hit every odd and my right signaled each hundred.

too bad i didn't stay home with kim for a bit before going to park her car. my walk would have been perfect for midnight.
