"what are you doing?"

"taking pictures."

"of what?"

"uhh, the rides."

"do you have friends or family here?"

"no."

"then why are you taking pictures?"

"i got a new camera."

"oh. you're not taking pictures of children or anything like that, are you?"

"no. do you want to see them?"

"that's ok."

it didn't occur to me until then that maybe it did seem a little weird that i was at the nassau coliseum fair by myself, not riding any rides and taking pictures.

oh well.
