i was talking to jose today for the first time in a while (it was great to hear from him) and he mentioned that he and some friends were thinking about a trip to amsterdam. he asked me what the weather was like so i was trying to think back to the trip kim and i made in february 06. i don't remember it being freezing although i did remember a bus trip we took where it was so windy that i bought an amazing green flannel fleece at some stupid shop so that kim would be less cold. then i started thinking about the bus trips and how i acted like a bitch for having to go on them. i really wish i could have seen those bus trips then as i do now - two people in love exploring a new country together. if i had been able to see them that way, maybe i wouldn't have been such a bitch.
but i'm always a bitch which is why i live the life that i deserve now.
