"as soon as i'm left alone the devil wanders into my soul..."

as if watching the office isn't strange enough nowadays, tonight's episode was crashed by the dude who plays edward quartermaine on general hospital. i hatehateHATE that i recognized that old bag o' bones. of all the ancient actors in the world, couldn't they have found someone else to play mr. dunder for those 2 minutes? that was not funny at all, yo.

i had a dr's appt on monday with the specialist i saw before moving to new york. i thought it was a wise move to return to him since he already had a manilla folder with my pertinent personal information in it.

as i drove down route 9 towards framingham, i started to have second thoughts about my decision to return to dr. previousspecialistdude. i felt like i was on an episode of "this is your life" only guy smiley was stuck on the crapper or something so i was alone again.

hey!!! there's the newbury comics you hit 2 million times solo and with the nyers!!!

hey!!! there's the eyedoctor's where kim helped you pick out your first and only pair of frames!!!!

hey!!! there's the movie theater where you and kim saw spiderman three months after it was released!!! and there's the ben and jerry's you hit afterwards!!!!

hey!!! there's the dentist where you brought kim to have her wisdom teeth removed and when the procedure was finished, you just wanted to grab her and hug her pain and disorientation away!!!!

what do you win? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!! thanks for playing, fuckface!!!

when i finally reached the doctor's office, the waiting room was packed so i spent a lot of time staring out of its fifth floor, west-facing window. i remembered how the first time i ever sat in this room kim was sitting right by my side. then i thought "just yonder over all them there trees is the apartment and its awesome porch" and my heart sank.

after seeing dr. previousspecialistdude, i returned to reception to make an appointment for sixth months into the future. "the last time i did this, i went home and assured kim everything was fine and then we hung out on the porch and laughed at each other." more sinkage.

while walking around newbury street on sunday, i saw a dude sit down on some steps next to his skateboard, whip out a sketch pad and start creating. the skateboard/sketchpad combo reminded me of drew so i took his picture.

i believe drew left for las vegas today to attend his friend's wedding. i'm sure it'll be a crazy time. be careful, ginobili. i can't wait to see the pictures.
