bizzaro world of pain
mark's friend rob is a patriots season ticket holder. he could not attend this past sunday's game so he gave his two tickets to mark. thursday night mark asked me if i would go to the game with him and i said "hell yeah!" as i danced around the house. i hadn't been to a patriots game in probably 10 years and this would be my first time at gillette. woohoo!!!!
entering foxboro, or, as everyone outside of florida figured, a world of pain for the miami dolphins.
the seats were amazing!!! thanks rob!!! thanks mark!!!
the whole ride to the stadium mark was giddy with the thought of stuffing his face until it cramped.
the view of the stands two hours before kickoff = the view two minutes into the fourth quarter.
it still hurts that there's not a fourth banner up there.
the dolphins practice before kickoff. they probably could've saved their energy.
these dudes came ready to play.
little did the patriots realize these were the loudest cheers they'd get all afternoon!
a patriot prepares to long snap his helmet into the cranium of an unsuspecting kevin faulk.
randy moss waits for the snap.
"touchdown" ronnie brown, the star of the day, gets ready to run right through the middle of the defense.
believe it or not, the dolphins did punt in the first quarter. kevin faulk begins his return.
"can you please take a picture of them for me? thanks, steve!"
wes welker gets upended.
randy moss kinda runs his route.
chad "pellet gun" pennington fires a pass. wait, lobs a pass i mean.
"mom, you said you were taking me to a patriots game. what the shit are we watching?"
"touchdown" ronnie brown rolls out to throw a pass.
"touchdown" ronnie brown lets it fly.
randy moss tries to hide.
pretty much every player on the patriots played like this.
are the patriots done? time will tell.
although i expected the complete opposite outcome, i had a great time. hey, at least the game was a memorable one! thanks rob!!! thanks mark!!!
