mr. e.k. worny
i officially live in new york unofficially now. the apartment is taking shape. if you can believe it, kim and i are even closer to a corner convenience store than we were in ashland.
on the drive here, once we had crossed over the whitestone bridge and landed on the island, we got stuck in some accident traffic. as my eyes darted from new york license plate to new york license plate, it hit me that it's going to take a looooooooooong time before i feel like this place is home. kim works all day and as i've yet to find a job, i've run some errands by myself. even when i'm not behind the wheel, between my massachusetts license plates, i feel like there's an identifier on me that lets everyone know i'm not from around here. ugh.
in other news, here's something awesome that i found. two nickelback "hits" playing at the same time - one in the left speaker and one in the right. the combination is mind-bending.
{insert shout out to my massachusetts peeps here}
